Last year someone came to me looking for a couple custom heads I didn't have. I knew where to get them, and managed to take care of it for them. It was a nothing, especially since I was getting paid to paint the heads once I got them.

A couple months later, the customer sends me an email with pictures of the finished customs along with a couple others they had been working on.

Here's one of them.

Batgirl AE - Barbara Gordon

I commented on how much I liked the work and gave some props for expanding the AE line with a figure I had never seen done before.

This week I received the above custom in the mail as a gift.

I just wanted to give a public thanks to Robin (who just signed up here BTW) for a really cool guesture. I really like the custom and appreciate the kindness. It's really cool to see someone who had no reason to do what they did, except to share the Mego fun with someone else. Reminds me what it's all about.

Thanks again, and welcome to the Mego Museum.

Very nice gift and VERY nice custom. The face looks great and the tilting head adds to the softness of the face.

What a neat idea. I cannot believe that others have not thought of making her sooner. She looks great. Nice job. I am constantly amazed here at The Museum in regards to all of the great talent and generous gestures from those that are in the hobby for the fun of it. Welcome aboard Robin. It looks as if you have already made a lot of friends just starting out. Way to go. Keep up the great custom work and enjoy your stay here at The Museum which I am sure you will.
