    Anybody collect "designer" vinyl toys?

I think most people will now the toys I'm talking about- dunny's, munny's,eggs etc. I really like a couple of designers- Nathan Jurevicus, Jeff Soto, Tim Biskupp- and there's a lot of one offs I like. The prices are steep on many but you can always pick up a couple of nice ones for under $10 if you try. Anybody?

I don't collect them, but I like to buy blanks and paint and customize them myself. My usual mediums of choice are acrylic paint and sharpie. Here are a couple of examples for you viewing pleasure!

Those are really cool Wayne,I haven't tried to do a custom one myself yet. What I like best about the medium is how each artist can take the same shape and yet do something completly different with it, your's are very original.

This is very cool. Great to see people approaching the whole customizing thing from a more abstract POV. I've been thinking about going to the weekly woodworking/toymaking seminar that they have at Lowe's to kind of look into this sort of thing myself.

I collect the mini Smorkin' Labbits. They populate the laptop.
Those are my favorite, but I also have Gwins, Trexi's, Dunny's and Moofia.

BB Birdy's Cola Bears were fun to collect, and I pick up every Misfits of Nakanari I see. I have a few of the blanks I've been meaning to customize into Smurfs but I keep putting it off.

I collect them with my soon to be wife. She is in love with anything Tokidoki so we have all the Moofia some of their Trexi's the Dunny's the Cactus Pups a few Qees and all of the single release figures. I am a big fan of the Joe Ledbetter stuff my self. I have a full set of the toxic swamp figures and I actually proposed to my lady love by opening on of these and putting the ring inside. I gave it to her to open as a "Christmas present" at the down town Chicago Christmas Tree lighting, she opened it right as the tree was lit and I got down on one knee in the middle of the street and asked her to marry me as she said yes we kissed and the sky filled with fireworks, it was amazing! so yes I have a special attachment to the designer toys.
