    Aqua gum anyone?

    I rember as a kid way back in the very early 70s two of my fav cartoons was one with a young white lion and the other was a cartoon called Marine boy about a kid who lived under the sea and could breath underwater by chewing aqua gum any body else rember these two shows or am i crazy as no one else rember these two shows

    You are not crazy. Its Kimba the White Lion. They were both early Japanese toons that were imported here before Speed Racer.

            I liked both of those very much too! As a matter of fact, I just borrowed the entire Kimba series from my brother in law... Yep, I'll never grow up.

            I really loved one by the same producer, called Space Ace, but have yet to find a copy. He would press his dog's nose, which would open and produce a pellet which Space Ace chewed on and was then able to throw rings out of his fingers, which he could also fly on.

              What did you think of Kimba watching it as an adult? I got one of the Kimba DVDs -- and I have to say I was disappointed. I LOVED it when I was young, it was by far my favorite show.

                Good point, The last time i watched either show i was around 6 years old, But i think i'd still enjoy seeing to old favs, Would love seeing Astro Boy agian also

                  These were my favorite shows! Kimba the white lion and Marine boy!(who was australian by the way, he had a boomerang!)
                  I remember space ace too!
                  I did also like astro boy

                    Loved Marine Boy...have some really bad black and white copies ....no one else over here remembers it
