Moving on with my GI Joe project -- It's time to do some bad guys.
Dreadnoks!!! I want to keep the same feel going from my last 3 Joes so to do that I used a couple of Mego heads and a shrink job on the third. So here we go ---
Ratty Klingon head with hole in top becomes Ripper.....

Still tons of work to do -- I want them to where you can't tell who they were only that they are Dreadnoks. :)

This is the period where he left them alone to go with Cobra Commander to Cobra Island. :wink_y:
Actually I bought a fig "Agent Faces" that has a Zartan, Destro, and Mindbender mask that will be cast and shrunk in the near future.

i keep meaning to ask, what is the green stuff? looks like cake or cookie frosting...just a bit...looks tasty....lol....
It's two part epoxy... Blue and Yellow -- roll it together it becomes green. You use to get it at hardware stores (Duro) for 3 bucks now you can only get it at Games Workshop for 8 bucks....:googly:

That is the best looking gray faced ponch I have ever seen. I don't know these characters, but am looking forward to seeing the final products!

How is Epoxy to work with ?
I've only ever worked with Magic-Scuplt & SuperSculpty so far..
I like it for several reasons:
It cures in about 20 min.
You can sand it.
You can drill it.
And it sticks to most surfaces.
as far as detail work? supersculpy is probably better -- I use it because I don't know any better.

If you can work with Magi-Scuplt, you can work with green stuff (kneadatite?, trade name is something like that...) Almost the same in terms of mix & cure. Green Stuff tends to get softer in detail as it cures than Magi-Sculpt, but about the same.
Those RULE!!!!!
'Can't wait for the finished figures!
