I started to pick one of these up about a month ago, still looking for a really good price. How many of you read war comics when you were a kid? I read Sgt. Rock & Unknown Soldier on a fairly regular basis.

I thought all those figures came on a repro 64 Joe body, and had a retro looking Joe box.

We're discussing a few of those war comics down in the Comic Book Guy area. My love the Harvey Kurtzman EC stuff.
Don't forget Enemy Ace!
I got mine at Tuesday morning with Marie for 8 bucks each....

Man, I wish I knew these showed up at Tuesday Morning. I wonder if any of the Blackhawk figures showed up there? Those were gorgeous, but way too pricey at original retail.

Next to horror comics, I was buying war comics. I had a healthy collection of Star Spangled War stories featuring the Unkown Soldier. I was also a big fan of SGT ROCK.
I saw those Unkown soldier figures at the FX show and wanted one but the price was a bit steep for my liking. Is there anywhere one could be obtained for cheap?

I have the very same figure, there is suposed to be a limited edition figure in different clothes and box with the early joe body but I have never seen it, I have the sgt rock and easy co figures as well, but when you shipp to Scotland the shipping costs a lot more than the figures. does anyone have miss fear and marie. what are they like.

I am still searching for Blackhawk --- I think it was the best of the series... I agree it was too rich for my blood.

Just found a couple of Unknown Soldiers at Tuesday Morning, but these versions had a black box and jacket, I am guessing these are the variant versions. They are priced at $8 plus tax.
I got one so I could use the mask for a custom Hush figure I've been wnting to make for my Batman collection.
