THIS is my happy place today.

Now that's what I'm talking about! That's what shopping for Halloween is supposed to look like. All that's missing are the records.
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

Plus Superman, Spiderman, Hulk and Plastic Man.

And the girls get Little House on the Prairie. Wheee!!
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I wore out the Paul Stanley costume, before Halloween, in 1980.

I'm more than my fair share of nostalgic... but even as a kid, it drove me nuts when the costume would have the picture of the character or the character's name (...or both) on the plastic "smock". For some reason, they always did.

Yeah the picture of the character on the chest area killed me. If I remember right the Hulk costume had purple from the waist down, yellow for the top and short sleeves. Right on the chest is a pic of the Hulk and I think his name. I do remember having Batman with the bat symbol. I think there was a Superman with the right symbol too. I think it came with a little red mask though.

I forgot to mention my extreme disappointment with the Captain America costume for the same reason. Mom to the rescue on that one. She made me a homemade one. Thank God for Moms huh?

^Batman had that annoying Bat-symbol on his head. How could you NOT know that's Batman? Weren't the ears a giant clue?
