Little Tokyo: Where the Noodle meets the Diecast

Took a trip there last weekend. Started off at Anime Jungle.

Picked up my first Popy Gorenger : Yellow

Had to celebrate at Monzo with some Udon.

They make it look easy, though it's not.

Sweet Jesus, we got Pork Belly Udon here.

And some Popy GA-32 for Take Out.

I REALLY wanted to go there to check it out on my trip out to California earlier this year, but the only day I was able to go was Monday, when they were closed.

Nice! I got my first diecast popy Gorenger in Little Tokyo back in '76 and it was the yellow Renger too. My brother got the diecast Akumaizer 3 Evil. Great memories at Little Tokyo. Great photos!

That shopping center is fun! So much to see. I bought most of my little toys in the grocery stores.

Jungle has changed so many times since I first went there. It used to be just one store, then they went to three: One for Clothing, one for DVD's & Manga and one for Toys and Models. When I first started going to Little Tokyo, there used to be a store called Pony Toy Go Round across the street from the Village. Does anyone else remember Pony Toy Go Round?
