Swapped out the head with an enlargement I made of a DC First Appearance figure.

I do like the FTC version as it is. But, I think I like my modification with this head a little more.

Now, to see about scaling down the collar. LOL

Since the collar isn't finished on the edge I would think a trim with good scissors would do the trick. I wish the design didn't show so much skin, but that's probably not as easy a fix. (Insert Chris Hummel Dick skin joke here) Great cast and paints, I like the upgrade too.

Trimmed the collar and swapped out the torso to an original Mego T2 to better match flesh tone of the head.

Looks good ,however I think you went a tad low on the collar.
I think ftc was right with the height but way off on the width.

I was pretty happy with my first attempt. But, something like this is a real "trial and error" thing.

I'll eventually order another to try it again (and again). LOL

Hopefully they make the suit available or even the figure in a bag to save on the cost.

I have plans for the FTC head, so I really hope they continue the trend of piecing the figure out eventually.

It is oversized, I am not otherwise opposed to the original FTC headsculpt. But I really like the tweaks you made. And that you actually trimmed the collar... unlike that Hammer guy, who is all talk.
