Has anybody here ever made or thought of making a Mego Alien Xenomorph?

Classic 8 inches with cloth suit? Tail similar to the Mego Lizard? Existing hard tail from a similar sized figure would be fine too.

Chris made one a couple of years ago (I did a quick search), but I missed it...and his pictures are gone...

He hasn't logged in here since May 14...

If anyone was wondering what an Alien Mego would look like then check this out. The Alien head and body are from the MPC kit. The arms, tail and legs are from the NECA figure and they are attached to a ZICA V1 body. The pants have a Emce Metaluna feel to it. The Predator "now" with a removeable mask was painted by

Anybody else made or was thinking of making one?

    That would be so awesome...

I know this isn't what you're asking, but there was the Maxx FX line, which had a prototype Xenomorph.

That article is wrong about the 8inch size. It was the 9inch mego body that Matchbox used for the figures.

Not bad, you are getting close.

But I'm talking a totally custom figure...using a real Mego body...Alien suit...sculpted head perhaps (existing scaled one is okay).

I have an abandoned half-assed attempt sitting in a box somewhere.
If I can find it without too much effort I'll post a pic.
It used pieces and latex casts from the AMT kit (I got about 6 at $10each maybe 10yrs ago.)

Are you thinkin' a sculpted suit, Hec? Or sometyhing more classically Mego, like a screen printed with a few stitched-in details (like Mego IronMan) and a stuffed tail (like Mego Lizard)? I could see softening details on the Alien head and making a really fun mego 1978 - style figure like that.

the titans figures are about 3 inches tall.
the heads pop off the bodies real easy.
the heads are slightly larger than FTC heads.
but the oversized will work for the Alien.

                    aw yeah!
i did ghostbusters and Breaking Bad using these figures.

Sculpted head, maybe tail too. Or head from Mego Milk's suggestion. Stuff tail like Lizard is also a cool option.

Now, as far as the "body"...I'd like that classical Mego...not EMCE, Zica, etc...I mean actual Mego. One thing I like about custom figure is to at least have some original Mego component...and the body would be it. Maybe a Gorn of POTA ape? Aliens can be brown too.

As far as the suit, nothing better than what you suggested, a silkscreen suit, yes, that would give the Alien that true Megoesque look.

I've got it on my list, just need to find the time. I want to use the Alien model kit and use the Max FX prototype as a basis for a man-in-suit approach.

I'd use a black body suit underneath and then modify the model kit pieces with apoxie to be "Snap on" components.
