    Danny's Room, (a 70s style boy's room)

Ok guys, here's one of my other boy doll's room. This room is more detailed b/c it's a project display board w/ props that I can put up and take down at will. Does this room remind you of some of your rooms in the 70s?

I made the shelving, the toybox, the Batman lamp and Batman clock. How do you like it?

That DOES remind me of my bedroom in the 1970s. I had the Talking Batman Alarm Clock, and a lot of those albums, and a record player that was similar to that one, but with Superman on it instead of Snoopy.

That's a decorative Kleenex box cover. (the comic book is covering the slit).

That's brilliant. I really dig the posters and little board games.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Winner, winner, chicken dinner! I think I had most everything in that room.

That is very cool. Very nicely done! Without question, I feel the 70's charm flowing in that presentation. Great work!!

Thanks for the kind words, folks. It's was really fun putting together Danny's room. I felt like I was channeling you guys as kids! If you wanna to see a day in the life of Danny (70s style of course) then you can visit my blog:

In this post I have doll sized Hot Wheels, basketball, skateboards, and ray guns! (sorry no Megos, but you can see Danny's figures in his room!)

This is fantastic. I think I like it more than the other because it has a little clutter and seems more like a real boy's room with the multiple themes and toys. Or at least more like my childhood room lol.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Kyle's room was just a temporary set up taped to my dining room wall, w/ some toys and a few furniture pieces. Danny has a more "permanent" set-up. As I said I use a project display board. His bedding was actually made by 2 friends of mine, and all of his props are kept in a box, so I can set it up and take it down whenever I want. i have 3 boy dolls (soon to be 4) but Danny is the only one who gets a more permanent room b/c he was my first boy doll.

Your blog is very cool. The pictures of your dolls playing with the Hotwheels track was a lot of fun.
