Oh my god----the custom possibilities are SO many. Can they do something with an Eddie Murphy character too? PLEASE!!!!

Didn't see that coming. Never considered that Christmas Vacation would have had a big enough fan base that there would be demand for dolls. Looks nicely done and I am happy for the fans of the movie.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

That's pretty cool. Can Animal House be far behind?

We're going to have the hap-hap-happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tapdanced with Dany $%#@ing Kaye!

That looks awesome. I love that movie, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

I want a Cousin Eddie. Different versions. I want a "Merry Christmas, the $%^&er's full" variant.

I'll pass. Fun movie, but it doesn't spell action figure to me.

Considering it's a Chevy Chase retro-style doll, my take is that is that it's target audience is the bulk of the Mego/retro doll market----moreso even than Home Alone, because while HA is a huge movie compared to CV, CV is pretty big and is from more of the "Mego era" than HA (not the year of CV per se but the year the character was originated in the original film) and utilizes one of the Mego era's biggest comedy leading men names in the doll: Chevy Chase.

It should EASILY fill it's quota.

As would an Axel Foley, John Ringer, Jim "The Waco Kid", Uncle Buck, Jack Brown, Arthur Bach, Allen Bauer, Bo "Bandit" Darville or Navin Johnson figure. And, I'm sure there's a few more.

So get on those NECA! Or somebody!

Let me know when they get around to "Caddyshack" figures.
