I was looking at the Ted&Bill Rufus figure, admiring how great this looks in its box.
Even though Neca has had some killer art on their carded figures, I just love the boxed figures more. I display my Necas loose, but with the boxes you get the best of both worlds. Hateful Eight look great in the box, as long as you remove some of those dreaded ties which ruin the look of the clothing. Just ditch the ties, they're not needed at all anyway, as the tray holds the figure perfectly. And you get to see that the figure has a shirt, waistcoat, jacket and overcoat! How great is that?
Now, if Necas merges the two, a boxed figure with "fifth panel" card added (for the artwork), like the vintage SMDM line, it would be perfection. Not that I'm complaining now...
