    The Justice League of America!

Sorry for all of the pictures lately. This is something I have been dreaming of for a while. Dare I say, really since I was a kid in the 70s, growing up Mego.

I have to thank Paul aka LaserMego, for being a big part of making this possible, and of course FTC, for their repros and filling in the gaps that Mego left. And while this is just a temporary setup that I threw together to see how it would look, I now present to you, the Justice League of America!

I wish I had a better picture with the back of the chairs. Here is the best I could do in the space I had:

I guess I am going to have to add chairs for Aquaman and Green Arrow in my next LaserMego order!

This is a great advertisement! Unintentional I'm sure, but it's bound to get a bunch of orders! Looks great!

Funny enough, when I ordered this from Paul a while back, there is a deal for five chairs. When deciding what symbols to get on the backs, I chose Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman... and... uh... The Flash and Green Lantern! For no real reason. I didn't know about the FTC versions, I never opened the Mattel versions, I just chose those two 😊

I'll hopefully be adding Green Arrow and Aquaman too. I need a better Martian Manhunter first though. Or at least a non-FF green body.

Pretty sweet. There's lots of cool stuff that Laser Mego makes, we're very fortunate to have him as part of this community. It's been great looking at the posts you share.

Love the group shot. They look great together. I totally want to tighten up WW PJs though!

Outside of the feet, WW's PJ's actually fit pretty tightly on a Dr. Mego female body (would she really be standing that straight on a FTC female body? ). I've had some breakage issues with Doc Mego's bodies too, but when they don't break, they are a nice replacement for the FTC body for the novice who isn't ready to try a Mattel body swap yet.

I also toyed with using a Mattel Wonder Woman with the group too, but I like the idea of staying more true to Mego here (even though this is the JLA WW costume, not the Mego reproduction) and four times out of five, opening a Mattel Retro Heroes has resulted in severe disappointment.

Aquaman, making a case for why he deserves a seat at the table!

                        FTC JLA 8.jpg

I really just wanted an excuse to see if I liked the CTVT Superhero Rubber Gloves over the old ovenmitts. Besides the baby hands, I do like them better. The color is a better match to the green pants and the gloves have that backend fan out that I like for Aquaman. The hands do not fit all the way down (did I mention the gloves are sculpted for baby hands?), but that's good because it keeps the gloves from riding too high, and they still stay on nicely.

I am starting to like the tweaking, but out of fun and personal improvement, not necessity!

Are they even designed to be worn over hands? Looks good though.

Maybe not. But I think the Molded Open Hand gloves are supposed to go over the hands --they have more room for a hand-- yet they don't fit either. Design flaw or on purpose? Who knows!

                            But they work

I think Aquaman needs a pole to dance on. Batman could make it rain dollars on him!
