7" Batman - The Dark Knight Returns and 7" modern Batman

    Hello!

New here... just wanted to share some customs

Since I'm mainly a 1/6 scale collector... I always liked the idea of the Mezco One:12 DKR Batman with real fabric suit...

After I got two of the DKR Batman figures... I felt like I wanted to try something like this myself...

Soooo. this is technically not 100% mego... as the figures are 7 inches tall... but i thought they would fit...

So these are my first two sewing attempts...
It's not perfect ... but I'm kinda proud that it didn't end in the trash bin

So here's my Dark Knight Returns Batman..
Made out of MOTUC Mighty Spector / DC Direct DKR Batman
Some epoxy sculpt, paint and fabric...

Here a comparison to the Mezco one...

and here's a head-swap with the Mezco Batman figure...

And here I tried to merge a WWE Jakks Finishing Move Body which I had lying around with a DC Direct Capullo Batman.
This one was made in a rush... So I'm not a big fan of it... A lot of things went wrong when customizing the figure... glue wouldn't dry... epoxy sculpt was brittle... the belt started flaking ...
i accidently burnt a hole in the suit, when glueing the bat on the suit with hot glue... and the base body isn't perfect...
    but here it is anyway:

The next figure will be true Mego Scale

    Thanks for any feedback

          thanks

          yeah everything handsewn...
these were my first steps in sewing...
          Looking forward to do more..

Have a Marvel Famous covers body lying around, which is screaming for a new outfit!
But I guess I will limit myself to Batman customs...
As that's what I collect mostly

I should've read the text but my eyes went right to the figure. (that's a good thing)

Great work, I wish I could sew more than loose buttons!

cool, you really captured the bulk of Miller's Batman on the DKR version.

sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.
