Any Hints On Where To Find Plastic Chain?

I'm looking for some Mego sized "Biker" chain for the Ghost Rider, Power Man & Lobo customs that I'm planning. I'd like to use plastic chain, preferably vacuum metallized. I checked the $ stores hoping to find some in those cheap rack toys that they sell but with no luck.

I have some metal chain that will work perfect that I got a the craft store in the jewelry department but I think plastic would be just a bit more Mego like.

Any hints where I could find such a thing. When we were kids, I remember my sister used to get these fake jewelry playsets from the 5 & 10 stores that had plastic chain necklaces in them. I just can't seem to find anything like them these days.

over here chinese jewellery sellers have it in different sizes of thickness plastic coated in silver/chrome

Is that chain plastic? I tried Jo-Ann's but I could only find metal in various finishes. The stuff I have looks great but I'm looking for something more toy-like.

that is the type i was looking for but couldn't find it's duller than normal chrome coloured plastic so i'm wondering if it came off a toy as the fabric & jewellery places all sell the shiny stuff.

Scalping it off of the old Spawnmobile would be an idea if you can't find it anywhere else.

Yeah, saw this stuff on Amazon. It has some possibilities. I may be able to dye the white grey.

I was thinking about those old Spawn toys, 90's Ghost Rider too. Time to search eBay...
