Custom of the Week - 4/18/2016 - The Seven Soldiers of Victory

This week the spotlight falls on megalomaniac001's Seven Soldiers of Victory. Bleit1701 suits are always a good base for Megoey goodness, and the rest of the touches put this off-the-beaten-path group right at home in the Mego toy box.

Thanks all! I do love to make teams. This was a team that was interesting to make, even though I didn't know much about them. To answer the question about Green Arrows red boots, they were brown Dr. mego boots, I painted them!

The Seven Soldiers plus one, the one being Wing, who was Crimson Avenger's sidekick, but not an official member of the team (though he usually appeared with CA in his sections of the story when they'd split up).

I thought I was one of like five people on the planet with a memory of these guys, much less enough love to put together a full set of figures. Well done and well deserving of the COTW spot. They make such great Mego figures with all the bright, varied colors, and the costumes here really capture the classic looks of the characters. Very, very cool.
