La la la la la Smurf the whole day long.

Show your Smurfs love! Post your Smurfs.

Here's a couple of pictures of my Smurfs display I set up tonight.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

All my smurfs are put away with my Christmas decorations. It's tradition to pepper my light up houses on the mantle with smurfs every year.

      That's really cool.

When I had my previous Smurfs village set up I would switch out the regular Smurfs for the monster ones for Halloween.

I love the pics of your display! All of mine are put away, but I had tons of them as a kid. I also have a great display that the local store manager gave me as a kid because I bought so many. Looks like this:

            What a cute display.

My favorites were Brainy and Vanity, why do I always enjoy the flawed characters?

I still think I may have Azrael here somewhere. They ended up making hundreds of these little guys didnt they?

I always liked Grouchy. Everybody else was too cheerful and happy for my taste.

I love em, theres certainly a ton of them, and if I ventured into collecting other things, then these would be one one of them . I remember getting these in the Uk, at the "esso" petrol station, they had some kind of deal going with them.

                    Cool pics!
I had a fair few as a kid... had that house with the green roof, a bunch of Smurfs, and Gargamel & Azrael.

Thank you for all the nice comments. It's cool to see so many people like Smurfs too.

                        They're pretty likable, like Schmoos.

Never heard of Esso having them in the UK. I know Shell did, after National had a run of them. But this was back in the 70's,so Esso could've had them later of course. I got mine at National,a gas station chain that no longer exists....I think. They did one a month, which was good since it was a long walk to the nearest National from where I lived, lol. Still have a whole bunch of'em,and bought a few over the years in various toy stores. Still looking for Astro Smurf actually. lol.

                          J-R!

Anybody else remember Astrosniks or Snorks or Empire's Smurf knock offs called Gnome Family?

That really rocks, a whole Smurf village! Great display. Those are something I always mean to collect (and the Fat Albert figures) but just never got started. Now you've given me the fever again.
