    Batman 1989

Here's a simple custom I'm really pleased with:

Head, belt, and boots by Kidbiz
Cape, body, bodysuit, and gloves by FTC
Symbol is a piece of Batman "confetti" from Party City

I'm particularly impressed with the bodysuit by FTC---it fits perfectly and is much better than previous suits from them. The symbol is much more substantial than a sticker and gives a nice 3D effect.

And, thanks for the advice about the bodysuits--I'd been wondering.

This bodysuit is outstanding---the seams fall exactly where they should, no droopy crotch, and the sleeves are tight enough that they stayed in place without bunching up when I put the gloves on him. On the flip side, I got a flesh colored bodysuit for Plastic Man but it was so baggy I decided not to use it. I wish they were more consistent in their products.

^Oh, so the fit is still all over the place? Sigh.

Thanks! The boots came from the original Kidbiz figure.

Super nice piece; really captures the spirit of the '89 Batman. Just make sure he can't turn his head to enhance the authenticity!
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

He looks super handsome and pretty fun to play with. Why there hasn't been one made is just too incredibly odd? You sure had fun making this wonderful figure

So the Black Bodysuits from them have improved? I might go ahead and order one to see...Last one I ordered was so tight on a type S, that I returned it.
Was the flesh colored suit baggy even on a type S or did you try it only on a FTC body?
Also, anyone know .....has Doc re-stocked on his black suits?

The flesh colored suit was very baggy on a FTC body; the black suit fit perfectly on the FTC body, but I don't know if it has enough give for the type s.
