Speed Racer was one of my favorite shows. I hope they don't screw it up but I won't get my hopes up.
As a side note, Carlton Cards is releasing a Speed Racer Mach 5 ornament this year. Last year they also had a Speed Racer ornametn that played the theme song."The farther we go, the more the ultimate explanation recedes from us, and all we have left is faith."

I was never a big Speed Racer fan, (great theme song, though!), I have seen some of the cartoons. I wonder how close the movie will mirror the cartoon."Do you believe, you believe in magic?
