    Inferno Armor Iron Man

This custom was inspired by the Toy Biz Iron Man line based on the mid-1990s animated series AND Hasbro's Super Joe Adventure Team.

The head is an enlargement of the Toy Biz Inferno Iron Man action figure; gloves, belt, and boots from CTVT painted an even deeper red to match the suit; octagon chest button from Legend of Link (painted by me); my suit masterfully sewn by the one and only Jessica (Rotich); back pack, hose, and gun from Hasbro's Super Joe Adventure Team Aqua LASER set.

Here are some new pictures of my Iron Man Hall of Armor with Inferno Armor Iron Man taking his rightful place in the gallery.

If you are interested, here is the link to the original Hall of Armor thread from 2013.

    http://megomuseum.com/community/show...-PICTURE-HEAVY!!

This is the original Toy Biz action figure used to make the head:

I actually made a mold of the original gun and cast a new one that I could remove the handle, attach to his glove, and paint orange. Here is the original set from Hasbro.

Check out this website for vintage Super Joes. It is pretty cool. http://www.3dsuperjoes.com/aqua-laser.html

And I leave you with a nice Inferno Armor Iron Man collage...

I hope you enjoy my customs as much as I do, and, as always, thanks for looking!

    Peace, Love, and Megos!

    Austin

I have a soft spot for toy biz marvel, that Iron Man cartoon, and megos wearing backpacks. I guess I am predisposed to utter the words...I love this figure! Really well done Austin!
I post in thy general direction!

Actually, I like your version better than the Toybiz original. Inspired repurposing of SuperJoe, too.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

                    Well that's just marvelous .

I was lucky enough to see a sneak preview of this a few days ago. The Hall of Armor remains my favorite set of customs Austin has done .

I hope I will one day get to see him make a Hulkbuster suit.

What happened to the button lights you used to illuminate the various suits?

I simply took it off for the pictures due to space and lighting constraints.
