No contest, I spent 10,000 hours with this thing fighting off the cylons. It's a bad day in the Heiler house when I find this thing to this day.

I had a Spider-Man/Hulk electronic pinball game that went kaput very quickly. It was soon replaced with the Wildfire Pinball game. That one was awesome!

This was my favorite:

I could spend hours on this. It wasn't even mine; my friend Rob owned it and he got bored with it so I would borrow it for weeks at a time. I could never figure out how to be good at football, basketball, baseball on these things, but "death from above" was right up my alley.

The thing I held in my hand that gave me the most pleasure was........
(Sorry I couldn`t resist :hokay: )
This is the one and only Astro Wars. I pretty much got to the 10000 top score every time but it never stopped me going back for more.

HA!
I read the title to this thread and figured I'd be the only one to mention this game and there it is in the FIRST post!
I still have this game and LOVED it.
You obviously remember that there was a pattern to the "cylons" and you could predict where the next one was coming from to win big! LOL
My one regret (and I vividly remember doing this) is that I was SO excited when I got this that I TORE the box open to the point that a whole section of it was ripped away but I still have that remnant along with the styrofoam insert, etc and that is how I stored it away after each use and for the past 30 years.
I also loved a game called COMP IV. It's kinda like Mastermind. Still have that one in the box too. My sister had Merlin.

Hmmmm....
When I was a kid there was a series of these weird little rectangular pocket games. They were all the same size, but the games were super-different. My fave was "Steeplechase;" a 3D maze that you had to move a little ballbearing through. It included a lot of moving obstacles.
Kinda wish I remember what those games were called. 'Course, I'm also glad I don't; 'cos I don't need to be collecting anything else!

I picked one of these up a few months ago on ebay. Mint-in-Box with all the instructions, foam, etc. Looks and works like new. I think I paid like $8-$10 for it with shipping. It can get addictive. It's very primitive compared to anything new but that's ok because that's what I grew up with and still enjoy it.
