My first custom-- Green Lantern

Hi guys, this is my fist time posting one of my works I hope you guys like it. As it happened my two favorite DC character never made it to the 8" Mego line, Green Lantern (being my all time favorite comic book character) had to be first. So here he is, I used a Cap. Kirk head because I have always loved that smirk and thought it represented Hal very well I used super sculpy for his hair and mask and the paints are mine as well. The suit is a dark green suit from CTVT I drew the black parts on with a fabric marker. The Boots are CTVT and the Gloves are Doc Mego and sticker was computer printed on photo paper and run through a sticker machine. I have my second favorite character done as well and I will post some pics of him soon! I hope you guys like it!

Hi Green Lantern 9999 Welcome to the forum. From one rookie to another you will find that most members of this forum are very supportive, and kind individuals. Their work has defintely inspired me big time to keep crankin' out customs. Your GL looks great! One of the better uses of fabric marker I've seen in awhile. I would not have guessed a kirk head would look so good on GL. Nice job. Green Lantern and also Flash are both pretty common customs cause everybody wanted one. I enjoy seeing the different ways people come up with their version of these guys. Nice. I am glad you did the points at the shoulders, a lot of people skip that detail, & the marker worked well.
