Shocker -- Archenemy of the Amazing Spider-Man

Herman Schultz is a career criminal who, after several prison terms for robbery, built a battle suit that sent out shock waves to quickly open safes as well as give him a significant advantage over the New York police. During his first outing as the self-styled "Shocker" (in Amazing Spider-Man #46) he ran into and defeated Spider-Man (Peter Parker), who became Schultz's nemesis.

The Shocker has been a member of the Masters Of Evil and has fought Spider-Man many times. He has proved to be one of Spider-Man's more difficult opponents. The Shocker, being very masterful in his equipment, makes changes accordingly to defeat his enemies.

My custom Shocker is built on an original Mego Type 2 body; Castaway brown boots; CTVT belt and Iron Man gloves painted brown with metal "shockers" added; head enlarged from an old Toy Biz Shocker figure; suit and paints by me.

    Shocker vs Spider-man

I hope you enjoy my customs as much as I do, and, as always, thanks for looking!

    Peace, Love, and Megos!

I like the Shocker, and this custom. Yours is good, too BB. It's not easy making an insulated suit look well-designed, and screening is a good choice.

It occurs to me that the quilting-lines/stitching could be rendered in orange or amber, too.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

nice work, just what Mego might have done. He was something of an A-Lister in the 70s, he appeared on more than a few covers, Mego might have done him eventually.

                        Very clean and right.

I like the fact that the cross hatching on the suit matches up perfectly to the mask... That is an attention to detail Mego surely would not have accomplished
Warm up?! We may as well sit around this cigarette!
