Megowgsh customs year in review 2015

It has been another productive year for customs at Stately Hough Manor in 2015. Thank you to all that contributed to, advised on, and enjoyed viewing my Custom Megos! Looking forward to what we can accomplish in 2016!

    Peace, Love, and Megos!

    Austin

You just made it a helluva lot easier for me to finish the twelve customizers of Christmas thread. They're all wonderful, and I'd hate to have to pick a favorite. I will say that just the idea alone of doing Hotshot is crazy good. Thanks for keeping us stocked in suits and heads and great ideas Austin.

My absolute favorite customizer ever, and that's saying something on this site. I'm determined to pick a favorite, but it'll take some thought. Thanks for posting Austin. Always enjoy looking at your stuff.

Sorry, that last sentence just sounds weird. Oh, and I'll refrain from using the term "your 12 inch Thing".

Just incredible. INCREDIBLE. Every custom looks like something Mego would've done, and I can see each one on a toy store shelf/rack. You're the best, Austin!
"It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."

There are so many talents who put their work on display here. I enjoy all of them very much. That being said, I believe the work you have done this year alone, makes you a first ballot Mego Customizer Hall Of Famer. Congrats on all your sweet figures.
I post in thy general direction!

Damn. The most customs I EVER did in a single year-- and it was a productive one at that, was 27.

I love them all. But my favorite, by a wide margin, is the 12" Thing. That was a hole in the line that was simply demanding to be completed. And it looks perfect.

Of the 8"ers, it's hard to pick. But I will have to go with power suit Luthor. ( a close 2nd would be the blue-suited Penguin from the New Adventures of Batman and Robin). All of Austin's customs capture the Mego aesthetic nicely--better than anyone has ever tried.

But that 12" Thing and that Power suit Luthor are the two he did this past year which could actually pass for Megos, and none would be the wiser. They are the best of their kind.

                          Matt

Your Marvel output is astonishing and exactly what I wish Diamond was doing. More than 20 figures!

The Guardians of the Galaxy Martinex is hands down your best work ever IMO. Just amazingly executed.
