This may have been asked before, but here goes. I have 2 MIB AJ's.
Both of them have a light blue suit that is almost a plastic materiaI also have an old played with AJ that has a dark blue suit that seems more like a fabfic.
What is the difference in these suits? Is one more common?

what is the box art like is it Generic with AJ in his heroic stance?
does it have a punch out peg borad hook in the back? it may be the tail end of the production run where the most varaitions take place.
the most common airforce suit is light blue cotton,with either one,two or no legs pockets.

No it isn't he air force suit that you are referring to. the one that came standard is different.
I only have ajs with the dark blue suit. - i think those are more common
the other light blue one is a thinner more vynily material. i do think it is less common but no more sought after.

Oh the outfits that came with the figure now I understand.
The Dark blue cotton jumper that came with the figure I think its more common.
The Nylon ones last longer.

I seem to see more of the light blue suits on e-bay. I prefer the dark blue jumpsuit.

I got both of my old AJs back in 1971, around the time they first came out. They both had on dark blue jumpsuits.

Best way to get a mint one - buy the dude MIB. -esp if it has a bad box he could be had for under $20.

That is a good idea, but I have only seen them MIB with the light suit.

I have been looking to get into AJ for some time now. I only have one so far, It's a red haired one with a hooded light blue nylon jump suit and white boots I got him loose so I am not sure if it is a standard suit or if he is in one of his outfits, but it is in great shape. I really like the dark blue suited bearded ones the best. I just can't seem to win any on evilBay. I hope to get one soon. Is the African American one particularly hard to get a hold of?

The hooded light blue jumpsuit is the Snowmobile Outfit, not the jumpsuit that comes with a boxed figure. The African American AJ is pretty hard to find and is more expensive, but sometimes you can pick one up in a lot of figures.

I seem to recall the light blue jumpsuit being the most common back in the day. But I was 5-7 when I was getting AJs so my memory might be messed up. I have purchased 3 MIB this past winter. I have the AA in the dark blue cotton jumpsuit, black hair & bearded in the light blue nylon jumpsuit, and black hair & bearded in the dark blue cotton jumpsuit.

I wound up trading the last jumpsuit for something, maybe the AJ white snowsuit for a kitbash that I am doing. I'm amazed at how inexpensive the Action Jackson figures and outfit packs go for, especially boxed/carded.
