Happy 40th Anniversary as Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter!

40 years ago today November 7, 1975 Lynda Carter 1st appeared as Wonder Woman in the ABC The New, Original Wonder Woman TV movie! I was a 5 year old boy starting kindergarten and said "WOW! Wonder Woman really is REAL!" I had seen WW on 1973 Super Friends cartoon and her comic book but Lynda Carter brought Wonder Woman to LIFE for our generation and beyond! Lynda will always be the ONE and ONLY Wonder Woman! So, Happy Anniversary, Lynda, you're a Wonder!

I got the 2015 Hallmark Lynda WW Keepsake Christmas ornament and this week got the NEW Madame Alexander 16" TV Wonder Woman which turned out better than I thought!

I wish FTC could get the rights for OFFICIAL Lynda Carter Wonder Woman TV 8" Megos from the ABC and CBS versions! THAT would be a DREAM come TRUE!

I knew it was coming up.....I agree, she will always be the one and only Wonder Woman. No one will ever be able to fill her boots in that roll. I hope we continue to see a lot more Lynda Carter Wonder Woman items coming out over the course of the next 12 months to celebrate the anniversary!

She has been and still is one of the best entertainers!

I was watching WW on Me-TV last night. I'm surprised they didn't mention the anniversary. But yes, Lynda Carter is the definitive Wonder Woman!

Lynda set the bar for what the character could be and that's why we LOVE her portrayal of Wonder Woman. It be nice if FTC started working on redoing a new Lynda Carter Wonder Woman that I have been hinting on for the last year. It is LONG overdue to see a figure but nice to see Alex Toth's Superfriends Wonder Woman and the new line of Wonder Woman figures!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At least FTC has a Wonder Woman comic book line coming in 2016 w/ WW, Diana, Steve, and Silver Swan! *Since Silver Swan is in Wave 1 you know there will be at least a Wave 2 with CHEETAH!
