Does anyone know anything about this seller? Not that I'm in the market for this suit, but something about this auction doesn't sit completely right, with me. Now, I could be totally wrong.

Looks very legit to me. It looks as if a high end auction house came into the 21st century and are making their stuff open to alot more people. Fake auctions don't ask you to sign up to be able to bid on an item.

That's pretty neat but I wonder why you don't get the mask?

These are the original Batman and Robin outfits, see how faded and worn they are?
http://www.1966batmobile.com/Batman%20&%20Robin.jpg
And this brand new looking outfit supposedly is the real thing? Yeah, right. Could be from the stuntman or a spare, you say? Well, the Robin tunic has 12 laces in the front, not 15.
The signed outfit comprising cape, tunic and gloves, scarf and shorts
That green thing around the shoulders is the scarf? Since when does Robin wear a scarf? ;)

Waste of money if you ask me :please:

I understand what you're saying meule, but maybe there's a possibility that there was more then 1 costume made? or maybe the one used in the movie was different? I don't know, who knows right? still pretty good

Glad you brought that up. Where the heck are the leggings for the one on eBay as well? seems weird seeing a Robin outfit and not see those.

Of course there was more than one, but they all had the same amount of laces in front ;)
This is merely a badly made copy and an expensive one at that.
You want a professional, high quality copy of the Robin suit? Go here:

He doesn't have gloves and boots, but the rest is top notch stuff. AND cheaper ;)

I'm convinced this is a reproduction also...never worn on the show. Good detective work Meule....wait a minute, Holy moustache wax, Batman......Wasn't there another famous Belgian detective........
I wonder if it's one of those "copies" that were made back in 1989 since it's location is The Orleans Hotel &Casino, Las Vegas. I know that OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) had a copies made of Batman Robin's and the Jokers costumes for their display of super heroes back in the late 80's to coincide with the '89 Batman movie. Kind of like how Planet Hollywood claims some items they have are real film used props, but some have been proven not to be.

I sure hope someone hasn't been taken for a ride for $8,000.00!! I think since hearing what others have said here, I would have to ask for some proof that it's the real deal before I bid on something like this.
Trust me, it's a copy. 8K down the drain
