    Mr. Freeze upgraded

Got tmello's freeze gun and wanted to correct CTVT's errors on the figure with the freeze gun backpack and the cravat that was missing. The freeze collar and the backpack are not supposed to be one piece as they did it, the part with the red canisters is separate from it. So I cut it loose and put shoulder straps on it as seen in the show.

He's also supposed to have a white cravat tucked in the jumpsuit, so I did one with a scrap of white fabric.

Its a pretty easy fix, the backpack even has a spot molded in for the hose in the bottom. Guessing the gun was planned but cut to save money.

Great idea, Joe! Thanks for sharing! The hose from the tanks to the freeze gun is a no brainer!

So how much extra $ did you invest to right an egregious wrong?

just whatever tmello's gun cost, the rest was scraps and probably 25 cents worth of elastic. Forgot to mention that the freeze collar sits a lot better when the tanks are cut off. Before I did it they were riding too high and rubbing paint on his head.

I hope they do a George Sanders Mr. Freeze. After all he was the original and top notch golden age Hollywood alumni who wanted to be a part of the whole thing, just as Cesar Romero and Burgess Meredith.

I think its for beading necklaces, glows in the dark, too. Its not screen accurate, it should be ruddy brown or dark red. I tried painting it but it wont stick and enamels stay tacky in Florida.

Thanks all, I am working on Bookworm right now, so he should be next one posted. These figures get so close to being perfect TV likenesses, but somewhere the ball gets dropped and they need to be tweaked.

nope, his body is fine. They have improved the shoulders with this wave. Slotted like the 6 inch figures. As you can see from the pics he has no problems posing or standing. On Bookworm I am replacing the destined to break reading lamp neck and redoing the cheapskate glasses.

Not sure I can say his body was fine on mine...he was very loose (especially in the legs). But he is on the S-Type now,so no worries there for me

looking forward to seeing the Bookworm upgrade
