    doc mego knees

How can you remove the (apparently) one piece Dr. Mego knee pin? Is it possible?

    Bump!
hmmm... No advice? I want to install a pegleg on Doc body and I am reluctant to tear it apart. Hot water and violent force I guess.

Hot water and pry apart, then remove the knee pin from which ever side it remains in and pull it out with plyers. you'll have to use a 2 part replacement knee pin to connect the peg on, as Docs 1 piece pins only work in the flexible PVC legs that they came in.
Doc carries china made 2 piece knee pins on his site. By the way, you don't need boiling water like with other plastics , hot tap water or even a hairdryer set on high will do the trick.
