I rember as a kid collecting baseball cards, I use to walk down to the corner store to buy a pack for a dime, But the days of the mom and pop corner store are long gone today i stoped in a 7-elven and they don't sell cards so i'm wondering do kids still collect baseball cards?

I dunno...the only cards I ever see are Pokemon :yuk: and Yu Gi Oh:yuk::yuk:

I remember when it was a thing to play sorta this Go Fish type game w/ your baseball cards at lunch time in school. At first I didn't have any real ones (apparently the ones you cut off the back of the Hostess Cupcake box didn't count!) but a friend of mine gave me some doubles after I helped him sort thru all of his cards.

It's gotten to the point where kids can't even afford them,I went to a local card shop the other day looking for a D-Wade Refractor rookie card and they were asking like $4-$20 a pack!! some even more.By the way the D-Wade was $150!! got it on ebay graded for $40 :smiley1:

so i just think they can't afford it,and it really isn't as fun as video games. So times have changed

Back when you were a kid if you would've had the Nintendo WII or the 360 would you have been buying cards or playing games? ;)

it seems like sports cards are geared more for adults. hey damien, do you think that dwade refractor be worth more with his autograph? i've always wondered that.

there's 2 versions that comes autographed, one is like $300 and the other like $1,600

now if I get it signed by him in person it would drop value unless I get it signed and then have it PSA DNA graded or just have him sign the PSA case

i could get it signed though,I use to train his wife  big pain in the *** though

Having 3 kids of my own, and coaching various sports, there is very little interest in baseball card collecting from the kids. In fact, I will add that my personal observation is that interest in baseball is declining. I enjoy baseball but it's very difficult to watch on tv and to many kids, moves at a pace that is too slow.

They do collect the Pokemon and Yu Gi Oh cards...you can find sports cards at Target and Wal-Mart but at least around here they are shoved in a corner while the Pokemon cards still sit fron and center.

what really ticks me off is that my boss use to kiss her *** so much, like for example when you're training a client and they bring another person with them, you have to charge an additional session(cause you are training 2 people) but no,this chick brings like 5 people which is crazy, she would bring Udonis Haslem's sister, chick, her mom and a bunch of other people and on top of that if you tell her to do something she'd be like hell no,I ain't doing that ****! Rude,Rude, rude! I could'nt stand her ***!!

On the other hand Alonzo's wife is a sweet heart
yes a lot of Heat people go to my gym
