Just watched the new Hellboy 2 trailer, this movie is packed with crazy looking monster/aliens/creature...um, ...things! So the question isn't what's your favorite monster, but what's the coolest looking monster? I think I'm going to go with the Rancor, I would love to see an updated version, and I hear there will be one in the newest Star Wars game (these ones now have tribal looking facepaint). Lots of cool monsters to choose, from frankenstein to Pan's Labyrinth, Cloverfield to Equinox, Ymir to Kraken, OK you get the picture.Oh yeah aliens count too!

The Creature from the Black Lagoon always wins in my book!
Also:
Karloff & Glenn Strange's version of the Frankenstein Monster
MechaGodzilla - all versions, particularly the original and the millenium versions
Mechani-Kong from King Kong Escapes
(I love giant monsters that are also robots -- best of both worlds!)
And that new Benicio del Toro Wolfman is looking pretty cool...

I always really liked Christopher Lee as Frankenstein but then again, I'm a soft touch for a longshoreman coat.
