Samurai looks ok, but I wish these companies wouldn't switch to those big fat rubber boots. I hate those. Big fat heads and big fat boots kind of head in a non-Mego direction.

Thor had rubber boots and they were fine because they were not so thick, they looked in proportion with the figure. Those big rubber boots that EMCE marvel stuff is using and the old Mattel Retro Action stuff had just looks so wrong to me. If you think of them as being real people it would be like giant three inch thick moon boots or something.

I like this line ... but I'm waiting to see the Scooby Do line / Hanna Barbara line / Shazam Wave 1 / Superman Wave 3 / Wonder Woman Wave 1 ... To decide where to spend. I like the idea of them all but I shouldn't spend the $ and I don't have that much room to display.
Also, I like to see a 2nd wave before I commit (although I dove right into the Batman 1960's line).

I'm in for Apache Chief and Samurai. I pretty much just want Mego Superfriends vs LOD, so unless something is an improvement or not made before, will probably pass on characters already available for now. If somehow the entire 24 figure line got made (11 SF, 13 LOD) I would think about it getting all the characters if it would enhance the display.

Well crap. I was going to save some money and skip these. But they are growing on me and these pictures make them look even better. My biggest issue is with Superman. I think he would look better with a thicker belt and maybe they should have posed him so his cape made his shoulders look a little bigger. That has a lot more to do with the photographer than the figure itself.

And even worse? Zan is my least favorite character but he turned out the best in the bunch!
