the price hike is disappointing, especially when you see EMCE's Trek figures going for 17.50 a pop at BBTS. If this is the trend there, it will make me hesitate with more purchases.

actually its more like 20%, 25% would be 6.50. I liked buying straight from them since I get them so quick, now I will look elsewhere for free shipping and tax free.

not sure how they have "more work on them" than the previous series. All those figures had unique costumes and sculpts just like these. Tut's costume is on par with Shame's as far as complication goes. Of all four maybe Freeze is a bit more expensive than the rest with the neck/backpack freeze equipment. He does recycle gloves and boots that CTVT already has molds.

Great to see the pre-order is up, but at the new price I won't be buying the doubles I'd intended to buy. Probably won't even buy the entire set, just pick and choose. I know we need to support the line, but I also have to support my family.

Pssht....just killed the line for me. Neca stuff is $29.99 and a helluva lot better quality. It will be pick and choose from that price point and a wait-a-year for price deals or eBay flips.
