    NECA compare contrast?

Sorry if this has been covered before, but have there been any comparisons made between the NECA body and Type S? I can't find any information or photos. Has anyone tried to swap out heads, boots, or hands? Have never seen any of these on the shelf, so I'm wondering if it's worth price + shipping just for the body...

I've never tried to swap anything, but I do know that the neca body used for Soldier Ape and Snake is excellent. Very poseable, well-made and sturdy. To me, the best 8" body out there now.

The problem with the Neca body, is that the boots are molded on, so U dont have a plain body here.

Yep. That makes for boots that look nicely shaped (tight around the leg), but a problem for customizing. That is why making a (quick) POTA Slave Taylor is not an easy task.

True, it can be done, but it's an A-Team make-over, not a quick switch.

I just did a NECA convert to make a slave Taylor using T2 legs.

Thanks, that's the information I was looking for! I wouldn't have suspected the solid body, that's a lot of material for really no reason other than ease of manufacturing. Been considering the Interstellar set ever since it was announced, but would have to change that MM head....
