    Who hates MOONRAKER ?

It seems like the media (ever since it was new) called James Bond's Moonraker a flop, but so far--- every person i've ever talked about it loves it.

    Me too.

I think it's a fun movie... even though it is a little slow from the begining.

I have a hunch the people that don't like it are extreme James Bond fans who think too much liberty was taken with the premise and events of the movie.

    Me, I could care less.

Just entertain me, and Moonraker did just that

Never cared for the Moore Bonds. There was just something about him that didn't seem believable as 007.

Moonraker is one of my least favourite of the Bond films I've seen. Because of its science fiction aspects, I really wanted to like it, but Roger Moore was looking and acting less like a secret agent and more like a rapidly aging film star by then. He was embarassing to watch. I've been to funerals where the corpses wore less makeup than he did, and they still looked better.

I'm not really a Bond fan, but I respect the character and situations that Ian Fleming came up with.

The whole idea of James Bond going into space sounds like the production company asked fifth graders what they wanted to see Bond do. Going into space and fighting a guy who bit things for a living just seems kinda lame.
She strode into the alley surrounded by a cloud of razor blades, ready to mete out indiscriminate righteousness on whosoever happened to catch her glowing green eye. "Alright," she said, her too-wide mouth twisting into a grin, "Who wants to be meted upon first?"

on the whole, i like it.

It is a bit slow for most of the film, my favourite bit is the space battle at the end.

It was a lame attempt to jump on the Star Wars bandwagon. Surprised Drax didn't have a breather mask and cape.

I have a fondness for it, because I remember watching as a Kid. Sure It get's pretty Tongue & cheek alot...but it was fun, and I still like it.

My best friend is not a big Bond fan, but LOVES Moonraker. He's seen several movies and prefers it to all of them, and Moore over Connery or anyone else.

I think it's the Bond movie for non-Bond fans.

I can take it or leave it. Beyond Live and Let Die and parts of The Man with the Golden Gun, the majority of Moore's Bonds are just too campy and dated for me now. I'll take a Connery bond over any Moore movie any day.

Im going to have to agree with the fact that it is a poor attempt to capitalize on the sci-fi craze at the time. I love the character Jaws because he is a classic and memorable villain in the Bond movies, other than that I thought the entire film was made for children.

                  'nuff said.

Moonraker was the first Bond Movie I saw, and I walked out thinking it was the best movie ever.

I don't hate it but it's so camp they might as well have put Dean Martin in as Bond. I never bought Moore as Bond anyway, he's too fey for the role.

I love Moonraker! The campiness is what I love most! How campy was the Batman tv series? Green Hornet? Avengers? Come on, campy is what we grew up on! Bring on all the campiness of the 60's and 70's!!!!!!
