*sigh* so I got my new CTVT order today...What should I do?

FTC may be the site to love, but it's "sister" site ClassicTVToys is...well something else.

So in the spirit of Mego Meet ( since I couldn't go due to house rennovations),
I went ahead and placed orders with everyone: Austin, Doc, Craig and Dave and....ctvt.

So today I get my CTVT order, and yes everything is there....but...

First the "Free Skeleton" with order figure.....

The stupid thing broke just trying to make the figure sit down on my desk!!
Guess I shouldn't be surprised, the bag said the figure was made in India...

Next, the yellow shorts I bought....made in china....

Obviously too short....the wife thinks they are "booty shorts" and wonder if they sent girl
shorts...nope the order and invoice both say BOY shorts.....

    Last, the Green Male Tunic.....

as you can see, it barely fits over the Type-S body, and it arrived with a hole in the right shoulder!

Wife says I should send all three pieces back and ask for refund. This isn't my first rodeo with them though...I'm more inclined just to try and make lemonade out of lemons...ie., bust out needle
and thread and fix the hole in the torso suit, live with the shorts ( since they will be going over
a body suit any way), find a way to get the torso suit to close fully on figure, and as for the skeleton,
just use the head, hands and maybe feet for custom parts and throw away the rest.

    thoughts?

The same thing happened to one of my skeletons, but I just put it back together and glued the pelvis with superglue. Don't glue the joints obviously. Anyway, mine still works great!

I bought one of those tunics as well, but in black, and mine fit fine.

A thing to remember with them is they make their clothes to fit their bodies, which are slightly smaller than others.
Expectation is the death of discovery.

those skeleton bodies all break apart at the hip. you can reglue it or just use the body for a diorama and the head for a custom. I would improvise on the clothes pieces and just make them work, it's par for course with the CTVT stuff

I'm leaning towards the same...in the time just sitting here, I think I found a way to get the tunic working.....
skeleton, I found an idea for the head for a custom.
with having to pay to ship back, it's cheaper to keep them...

I've found that their clothes (CTVT) clothing is rather small on the type s body. I made some customs last summer and had a real hard time getting them on.
