can anyone suggest a head for a colossus 1/9th scale.checked ebay and doc mego but nothing.

aren't the fc heads a bit big for 8" figures i have the vision and his head is really big

Sinister is really elongated, too. Lots of forehead.

The FC Mr. Sinister head was the base of my original Batman custom. It's a little big, but not too bad (maybe perfect for Colossus).

You can sand down the head to a more manageable size.

I think the FC version IS to big. I've had it side by side with a Mego and it's definitely bigger. I saw once on a FC customizing site, where a guy did use that head for Colossus, but somehow he cut down the forehead.

Boss's Batman is a different case. As you can see, Boss has had to do some sculpting to turn it into Batman(forehead is much smaller). Also, Boss uses his "bulked up" body which helps a lot on making the scale look right.

I used a custom head off eBay that was designed for Shazam, sanded his chin down, and sanded his head to a flat top. It worked very nicely.

Yes, mine came of eBay . It was intended as a Shazam head. My link-fu to Flickr is evidently insufficient, so sorry if images don't post. I took the Shazam head, reduced his prominent chin, and sanded his hair down to a flattop
