Return of the Fantasicar - Laser Mego preview

    [Monday Update]

After a 4 year absence, the Fantasticar is coming back for the Mego Meet custom auction!

The version 2 Fantasticar is totally re-designed and better than ever:
    • 4 separate compartments to hold all of the Mego Fantastic Four figures each with its own seat
    • The compartments snap together for a solid vehicle and can be separate for individual play
    • 3D printed with tough PLA plastic with snap-together construction (over 24 hours of print time!)
    • Raised acrylic 4 in the front with silver PLA bevel
    • Cool silver control panel
    • Vinyl sides and bottom with silver anti-gravity discs details

More details about future availability at the Laser Mego table at Mego Meet, but bid on the auction to be the first to get this new version.

Stay tune to this thread for more previews of Laser Mego item available at Mego Meet 2015.

    [Tuesday Update]

We will also have plenty of Shazam signs and stands for 8" figure in Stokie!

    [Wednesday Update]

Also new for 2015, Mego scale Lightsabers because they are not as clumsy or random as a blaster.

Made with a 3D printed silver PLA hilt and an acrylic rod blade

Available in 4 florescent colors: yellow, blue, green and red.

Designed to work with the Type-S trigger/gripping hand:

    [Thursday Update]

A couple of other Marvel items that will be for sale.

A Captain America sticker set including a shield sticker with 3 cut lines to keep it from wrinkling when put on a rounded shield, and some self-adhesive stars.

A hand for the Marvel's Black Panther villain the Klaw. This is designed to fit perfectly on the arm of a Type-S body! 3D printed in "silver" PLA plastic.

    Here is the comic version:

    [Friday Update]

New 3D printed horned-rimmed glasses available at Mego Meet.

Sized more appropriately than other Mego scale glasses:

    [Saturday Update]

To go with the Lightsabers shown earlier is a sword based on the Marvel Comics version of the Mego Micronaut figure Acroyear.

    Here is the comic version:

And here is what will be available at Mego Meet:

The hilt is 3D printed in red PLA plastic and the blade is white acrylic with etched details that got washed out in the photo. It is designed to be held in a Type-S gripping/trigger hand.

    [Sunday Update]

Too busy boxing up goods to send to Mego Meet for a long update.
However, I will be bring back all the previous Batman 66 Onomatopoeias: Pow, Boff, Kapow, Sock, Bam, Eeee-yow and Biff. And new more new one, Ooooff!

    [Monday before the meet update]

2015 Give-a-way! Every year we have a free gift at the LaserMego table. This year its a classy Mego pin.

Perfect for your lapel next time you need to dress up or just show your Mego pride. Free while supplies last.

    [Tuesday before the meet update]

New packaging and display option from Laser Mego!

I've spent months working on a new display box for Megos. This one is made out of thin PETG plastic (0.03 inches thick) that is light but sturdy and cheaper than acrylic.

Its the same type of plastic used for vacuum forming and food packaging. The box is two parts that slip together. When together it stays shut and you can pick it up with a figure inside without worrying about it coming undone.

It also had "feet" on the side so that it sits very stable on a level surface. When you do want to open it, there are thumb holes on the sides towards the bottom that make it easy to grasp all put up on the outer surface.

Its very easy to add a paper insert, like this Black Widow one printed on card-stock to give it some depth.

Also available from Laser Mego for Mego Meet, a retro Black Widow. Featuring Doc Mego and CTVT parts with a Laser Mego 3D printed belt and bracets.

Stop by the table to see the new plastic case for yourself.

    [Wednesday before the meet update]

We will be bringing back some favorites from previous years like Silver Surfer's surfboard and TV Captain America's shield and helmet set. Also, new for this year is a Robin helmet.

Another new item is Jimmy Olson's Superman signal watch.

(Picture is a little fuzzy, but it looks great in person.)

                            The Fantasticar is stunning!

Why so many Shazam! stands? Is there something Marvelous about MM'15 that I've missed?
