Any paint a ZICA body before?

I wish those ZICA bodies came in brown.
I'm going to paint one but thought I ask whether anyone had done this already who could offer tips.
    Thanks

I have painted them before (Zica/ tigerman body) in black - not brown.

I'd second the dye option. I've used Ritt dye on Castaway bodies so I would assume they'd work fine on Zica. Heck, Tigerman was known for having black dye from his costume stain the body, which is very common so it's a good bet Ritt dye will be fine. I don't think painting a figure is a good idea unless you don't plan to pose it differently and just leave it as a display piece.

^^^ you are correct - the legs are always stained on tigerman from the black pants - I'm pretty sure you are correct with the dye on the arms and legs for the zica body. the torso is the part i do not know if it will take the dye or not. the arms and legs are made of different material.

try dying them -you have nothing to lose - if it does not take - than you can paint it.

Good idea. I tried dying one of Doc's white Hulk bodies before and it didn't take at all. I assume that had more to do with me doing it wrong.
I think I'll give this a shot. Thanks for the advice.

docs bodies can be dyed - but they have the same issue - the arms and legs take - but the torso does not come out the same color.

not sure if you will have that problem with the zica body - but I'm guessing that you might.
look on doc site under bodies - look at the green and brown dyed bodies
those torsos are not same color/ or do not come out the same color as the rest of the body

I believe doc even makes a refrence to it.

The torso and pelvis pieces on the original ZICA body are made of ABS plastic while the limbs, hands and feet are made of PVC. This will definitely cause color differences in these pieces if you're trying to dye them.

Ok, what about painting a Type S? Has anyone ever tried that? I have painted the hands before but not the entire body. If anyone has pics that would be great too.
