    Swamp Thing

Alex Olsen is caught in a lab explosion caused by his co-worker, Damian Ridge, who intended to kill him to gain the hand of Olsen's wife Linda. Olsen is physically altered by chemicals and the forces within the swamp. He morphs into a monstrous creature who kills Ridge before the latter can murder Linda. Unable to make Linda realize his true identity, the Swamp Thing sadly ambles to his boggy home.

A hideous creature of enormous size and alien power, it waits for it's time to return patiently. For it has all the time in the world while it waits for the stars.

He needs more texture. You should redo him with more vines, roots, and such. He looks like an alien gymnast being attacked by broccoli.

He could use a little more texture, like Ant says, but he looks great nonetheless. You altered that head yourself? Impressive

Due to popular opinion I tried to make him more "slimy"

I added more detail but at the risk of messing him up I had to stop...hope you enjoy...

BTW sorry no outside shots this time...it's raining

Merlyn...that bit you wrote ^^^ brings to mind Doc Brown's "You'll have have to excuse
the crudity of this model, it's not built to scale." (in spite of it being an amazing
                      functional model)

You were forced to shoot SWAMP THING inside---yet you happened to have
the perfect science lab background for him--- YET you still apologize --- you are too humble---
especially when you add into the mix the fact that that SWAMP THING figure looks
                      REAL sharp, man.

                      Great job!

That description looks like it refers to the FIRST Swamp Thing who appeared in a try-out in "House of Secrets" #92. When the character was given his own series, it was given a modern update (the prototype was more gothic if I recall) and he was dubbed Alec Holland. In Alan Moore's run on "Swamp Thing" he incorporated the original tale into his storyline with a modern day framing sequence featuring Abagail Arcane, Cain and Abel.
