    Wishbook pics

Bonus from the Superman lot I picked up. A 1978 Sears Wishbook and a 1978 Wards Christmas catalog. Not nearly as cool as our RSS threads but I still wanted to share some pics.

Love all of the photos! Brings back many good memories!

Probably like most people here, I loved looking at the Wishbook's and Christmas catalogs, back then. I looked at them for hours, over and over.

Wow, those are some great images. Obviously the Ben Cooper Spider-Man play suit was quite a bit more authentic looking than their vinyl Halloween costume.

I know Brian has said Stretch Snake looked a LOT like a Sleestak, but man, that's litigation-worthy.

awesome stuff. these vintage catalogs are one of the things I hoped to find in my moms house as we cleaned it out, but no such luck. all I found in the attic was an Uhura boot and some 80's toys like Indiana Jones, in really rough shape

That's what I was thinking. Its pretty cool how those simple thin pages can bring back so many memories!
