Marx Johnny Apollo and Jane Apollo

Picked up a loose Jane today at the flea market for $5. She is in great shape with zero paint loss and just really nice. No accessories but still worth the $5. Now that I have done some research I really want to collect this line! I missed out on these as a kid.

Anyone know of any resources out there besides ebay?

There was a book on Marx action figures that has photos of the line. I don't have the book handy and can't remember the title. Sorry.

I remember having one as a kid.
Would be cool to have one again...

        Try vintagetoyroom.com

This site is run by Tom Heaton, who also wrote the book I believe Phil is referring to.

Also, James Wozniak sells new figures from Marx toys old Plastimarx Mexican factory. I believe he goes under the name Classic Recasts on eBay.

The book I couldn't remember is, "The Encyclopedia of Marx Action Figures" by Tom Heaton.
It's heavily illustrated with color photos of the various lines.

You should talk to this guy and visit his site. Very knowledgeable and very friendly. He has been a member here in the past. Can't say I have seen him recently but he's a great person.

Very cool info guys. Thanks! I had a ton of Johnny West stuff as a kid. I'm resisting the temptation to start collecting it again but I am going to gather up some of this Apollo stuff.
