Is FTC going to do an Isis figure?

Since FTC has already made Tarzan and Conan will they do an Isis figure ? I hope the name given to certain terrorist groups
will not keep this one from being produced. She is needed for collection

Well, if FTC wanted some free publicity, there it is...

Actually, all they need to do is repro the dress and make a sticker or headpiece and you could buy all the individual parts.

I think the problem is the Filmation license here. DC Collectibles did make a modern Isis figure a while back (a different costume based on her comic book appearances at the time; I believe the character herself was significantly different, as well). Filmation is in the hands of Classics Media, so FTC would likely need to get the license from them to make the Mego version of Isis. The modern version might be a different story, though (but, then again, character rights can be a total mess, especially when dealing with stuff from decades ago. Look how long it took to get the '66 Batman series rights straightened out between Warners and Fox).

hedrap makes a good point, they don't have to remake the entire repro style figure, just make a repro dress then
individual parts and accessories and sell them seperatley, no mention of the actually Isis name or trademark issues.

They already sell female bodies and female heads with black hair.

FTC has picked up some big names like Batman 66, KISS, DC COMICS ,Tarzan, Conan , Harry Potter, Scooby Doo I'm sure at some point they might consider
The Shazam/Isis power hour. Is the Isis figure more expensive to produce than these others or is there no market for these. Electro woman and Dyna girl
would be nice too

I just watched the 1st 1975 Filmation Isis episode on YouTube! 1975 is when I started kindergarten and fell in love with Isis and Lynda Carter Wonder Woman! How I wish FTC could make a NEW Mego 8" Isis with Joanna Cameron's likeness! Lynda WW too, of course!

Boy that Isis episode still holds up 40 years later! Joanna, Shazam actors (loved the crossovers!), Lynda, and Christopher Reeve made our favorite DC heroes BELIEVABLE to us kids in the 70s and I will always hold fond memories of them!

*Wouldn't an Isis/ Wonder Woman TV crossover been beyond NEATO!
