    TV Tray heaven

I have a soft spot for TV trays, mainly because they whisk me back to my grandparent's apartment and was the only thing they used not covered in plastic.

Seriously, they even had plastic on top of the carpeting.

We just had the "wood grain" ones. Now I have a set that's oak.

Love, love, love these things! We used to use them all the time because there was no way I could not eat dinner in front of the TV. How could I abandon my best friend during the most important meal?

We never had these, because everyone but my Mom could see the TV from kitchen. But someone in my family did...these look familiar...

Yep, we had a set like that. That was actually the "fancy" set, the original set was just metal w/ flowers.
Wow, I never thought about it, but at one point we had the "beater" tv trays and one set for guests.

We had these growing up. Nothing as spectacular like these season colors though. Ours was a foil gold. Amazing enough that you can still buy these today.

My best friend in grade school's family had those fall ones. His mom also collected "blue mountain pottery", I think that's a marriage made in heaven.

Brian I actually have those trays they belonged to my grandmother and we got them after she passed away. I spent many afternoons at her house eating, doing homework and playing with toys on those trays. I think my mom still uses them actually lol. The different seasons artwork on them is actually pretty nice in person.
