I think I have seen it all.
Everyone will get a kick out of what people will sell on eBay.
I can't explain it unless you go here.

You think if that were true. They would burn Jesus or something holy into the world to freak out these bible bangers that like to spend cash like water on stuff like this.
Gene Simmons? This would have been a scary item in maybe 1976 when everyone thought he was into satanism.

This would have made much more $$ if he said it was the image of Jesus. :silly:

Agreed. Jesus brings more money in then Gene Simmons. We need to contact them and tell them to burn a picture of Christ in their wood next time.

I have a spaghetti stain on one of my shirts that kind of looks like Gabe Kaplan.
Wonder if I should put it on ebay ? :smiley1:

Sounds to me like they want to scam Gene himself. They more than likely figure with his ego,he'd be willing to pay for it himself.

It looks like a random tree knot to me.
True story: In 1977 I was in the 4th grade and Kiss was basically at its peak. I had most of their albums and listened to them daily...even had a poster of Gene Simmons sitting on his chopper with the big Dragon boots.
My goofy older cousin tells my mom that he had a poster like mine hanging in his room and while we was sleeping, the poster came to life and some type of demonic Gene Simmons tried to attack him.
My mom, threw away my poster and all of my albums. As I got older and thought back to that story, I thought, that dummy was probably tripping on LSD (it was the 70's and he is 10 years older than me) and if the story is even true by his account, was having some type of drug induced hallucination.

I love that in the wider shot of the face, there's a round spot that approximates the shape and position of Gene's hairbun. But I'm of the opinion this is a natural formation that just happens to have facial symmetry that we, self-centered humans that we are, assemble together in our minds to look like a face. But I suppose it could have been marked or scored into the grain, as well.
Adam West, that's a cryin' shame about your childhood KISS collection. My Mom was the exact opposite: She indulged my KISS obsession with records, T-shirts and even tickets to the Dynasty tour in '79! She even came along with my friend and me, and his mother, and they (our mothers) sparked a doob while my friend and I went down to the floor to watch the band come out onto the stage! My friend and I had to shut our ears the sound was so loud, but I loved every second of it and even got to stay up till midnight on a school night!!!!!!!!

Too bad it wasn't that classic FARRAH FAWCETT poster that came to life...
and...um...tried to "attack" him ;)

I still can't believe people are still hokey and freaky about stuff that is out of the ordinary. Damn...
I remember back in the day. Some nutball Jesus freak-type Pastor or something, sent a flyer to my High School with a list of a hundred or so albums listed that were supposed to be "evil" and harmful to children.
My mother (who isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer) received a copy of the flyer through the school and went through my room and her and I went round and round with her when all my Mercyful Fate and Slayer records vanished. I remember all that goofy stuff back then. She later apologized to me and gave them back but at the time it was some pretty serious stuff to me (I was probably 13 at the time.)
