Fantastic! I like the way they weathered the jacket. I don't think we'll get that kind of treatment on the 1/6th scale. May I ask what company you ordered it from? I'm ready to get one now!

The jacket looks really roughly stitched.
Can't say I'm crazy about where NECA 8" is going with its soft fabrics.

He looks really great. How is the new body? Is it more poseable than the other ones?

NECA has improved the body overall...Swivel arms and better posing legs....SCREAM/Ghostface was the first to start with them

Here is a nice review of the figure with pics of the new arm articulation...

Does the body color shade look different than the head and hands to you folks? Not a deal breaker for me but it looks like Ash' body is closer in tone than the one they used?

^^^ Thanks for the link! Very good review. Yeah, I noticed the tonal difference as well. Not sure if that was the way the lighting hit the paint versus the plastic but we'll see if that translates in person when I get mine. His comments about not really caring for Mego's, (but liking these), really makes the point I was talking about on another thread about the various "Re-Mego" figure lines. To me, this is not truly a Re-Mego so much as an eight inch scaled figure with most of it's heritage influenced in the six and seven inch lines (with more detailed sculpts and paints) but with a nod to Mego with a cloth outfit. There are no boots or shoes to remove, so it's not really a figure that you can "dress up", which I think is how allot of modern day fans define a traditional Mego (hence the doll-like qualities). Really looking forward to getting mine.
