No, it's a 70's made-for-TV movie staring a cast of has-been actors.....

Basically, the plot is they're all on a jet airplane (Shat is a priest) ...
The plane is carrying some kind of possessed evil grave stones......

These demons start taking over the plane......

To give away the plot, Shat dies at the end saving everyone.
He's sucked out of the plane very dramatically (to his death) --- it was kind of disturbing (back then)

Without looking it up is that the one with the giant killer rabbits? That's why I'm visiting this forum. I saw it in the header. I usually don't post here but that was one wacked movie. That plus the one where Shatner played twins. But I think that doesn't count. It was a western.

He was also in a film called Visiting Hours, i can't remember if that was the 70's but i do remember it was banned in the UK for years as a so called nastie film. It is probably the only film he was ever in that got banned.

Anyone remember "The Lost Continent" where boats get stuck in this creepy seaweed, which if you touch it the seaweed attacks and eats you. It also had a boat of freaky looking mutant religious cult guys (dressed sort of like the KKK) who worshiped the seaweed. Although this one was actually from 1968, I didn't see it until the early 70s.

EDITED TO ADD: Oops sorry I didn't realize this was Shatner movies...nevermind.

Visiting Hours was from the 1980's

The one with the giant Killer Rabbits was Night Of The Lepus. That didn't have the Shat, it had De Kelley. Paul Fix, the doctor from Trek's second pilot was also in the movie. So a good Trek geekout moment is to be had when De Kelley and Paul Fix have a scene together.

The Devil's Rain scared the hell out of me the first time I saw it and I was rarely scared when watching horror movies as a kid.
